Browsing what felt like the end of the internet at the time, I stumbled acrossed Gary Lin, an independent designer running a small design studio in Taipei, Taiwan. His designs showcased a strong sense of asymmetry mingled together with harmony.
For Gary Lin, clothes are the camera, his biggest reward is catching people’s faces as they transformation into pieces of his designs. Leaving fashion and trends aside, he likes to use draping to display the hardness and softness of urban women’s personality and life style. The designs provide females new spirit, rather than the meaningless of Fast Fashion.
Not only will the quality of the materials impress you, the craftsmanship of each piece is on a level of it's own. I'm all for affordable staples in my closet but these Gary Lin Designs are worth every penny.
What do you think? Would you like to see more design from Gary Lin in Your Style Code's collections?
